4th of July Weekend
We spent four and a half days up in Cass Lake at the cabin over the 4th of July weekend. Luke got to swim in the lake for the first time and go for his first long boat ride. He was pretty tired by the time fireworks started on the 4th, but he did ok with the loud noises. Both sets of Grandparents were at the cabin this weekend, along with Aunt Abby, Aunt Jenny and soon to be Uncle Alex. In other exciting news, Luke has a new friend as of this week because Matt and Mackenzie Anderson had a boy, Norse Gordon Anderson, on Monday morning. Congrats to the Andersons and Luke can't wait to meet Norse!

You're right--Miles DOES look like Luke! It's their thick hair and svelte physiques, don't you think? They even have matching patriotic swim trunks! Charlie and Angie got Miles his pair as a "tribute" to someone they see running in many of the fun runs they participate in. The guy always wears his flag shorts, so C and A thought Miley should have a pair, too.
I can't believe Luke is a year old... time flies! What a sweetie!
