Our little baby boy came into the world at 4:47 a.m. on Friday, June 29 with a weight of 7 pounds even. After a couple hours of snuggling with us and other relatives Luke is now being watched in the special care nursery for a low blood sugar level and a slight heart murmur. The doctors have assured us that both of these things are pretty common for babies who go through what Luke went through during birth. His breathing and skin color looks great, they are just being cautious and want to watch him until Sunday it looks like. Unfortunately the only people allowed to visit Luke at this time are Molly and I and the grandparents so we will try to keep you updated here on this website.
